Communications, Outreach and Education with NOAA Science Camp (Seattle, WA or Virtual)

Program overview
This project seeks up to two interns to participate in NOAA summer education and outreach activities, with an emphasis on marine aquaculture education and outreach. Interns will help support camp programming, work directly with NOAA and Sea Grant experts and student campers, support curriculum development, and draft outreach and communications materials. Two slots are available. Supervisor: Megan Ewald and Casey Ralston.
Eligibility
Interest or experience working in STEAM education; Experience working with youth in traditional and/or non-traditional educational settings; Knowledge of and familiarity with the natural environment, especially ocean and coastal systems; Willingness to act as a positive role model for youth; Ability to work both independently and collaboratively; Excellent follow-through, attention to detail, organized, with strong documentation skills; Flexible attitude with an interest in learning new skills and applying creative thinking to a variety of project support needs.
