Program overview
Students pursuing Mechanical Engineering or a related degree who have completed at least one year of coursework and want hands-on CAD, SolidWorks, manufacturing drawing, and technical writing experience in a 12-week summer internship.
Eligibility
High School Diploma and currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, plus one year of completed course studies in area of emphasis. Experience with CAD software, specifically SolidWorks, is a plus. Requires strong computer skills, Microsoft Office/Excel skills, communication skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to read dimensional specifications and geometric tolerances on manufacturing drawings.
