Program overview
High school students entering junior or senior year with an interest in brain structure, function and development, advanced imaging techniques, and neuroscience research; also tracks for scientific programming, mechanical engineering, and STEM public engagement.
Eligibility
Must be available full-time for entire six-week period; legally authorized to work in US; entering junior or senior year in Palm Beach or Martin County high school during 2026-27; reside in Palm Beach or Martin Counties; be 16+ by start date. Track-specific backgrounds recommended: biological/chemical sciences for Neuroscience; computer programming (C/C++, Python, Matlab, Java) and math/physics for Scientific Programming; mechanical engineering/design for Mechanical Engineering; WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and graphic design for Public Engagement. · Legally authorized to work in the United States. · Must reside in Palm Beach or Martin Counties. Residents of other counties are not eligible.
