Microsoft Cybersecurity Work-Based Learning Experience with Dekaney High School

Program overview
A virtual work-based learning experience for Dekaney High School students hosted by IGNITE Worldwide in partnership with Microsoft. Students learned cybersecurity concepts, decoded ciphers in breakout rooms, and heard from Microsoft professionals in an interactive panel and Q&A. Panelists included Senior Software Engineer Andreea Pintilie, Senior Data Analyst Sowmya Keshavaiah, and Principal PM Manager KR Shubha. Post-event survey: 82% of students are interested in STEM, 73% know more about STEM career choices, 70% feel more confident pursuing STEM, and 73% gained perspective and feel more hopeful about the future.
