Program overview
High school seniors interested in conducting independent research in science, math, or engineering, and seeking national recognition and scholarships.
Eligibility
Must be in final year of secondary school; must have completed an individual research project; must not have entered a previous STS; must meet age and residency/citizenship requirements. · Open to any citizenship if enrolled in secondary school and a full-time resident of the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Wake Island, Midway Island, or the Marianas; or U.S. citizens enrolled in the final year of secondary school at a Department of Defense Dependents School, accredited overseas American/International School, or as an exchange student or child of temporarily abroad parents. · Must maintain full-time residence in the U.S. or listed territories, or be a U.S. citizen attending an eligible school abroad as described.
