Program overview
High school sophomores and juniors interested in exploring engineering, especially first-generation college students, women/non-binary students, underrepresented groups in engineering, low-income students, and students from Eastside Union and Sequoia Union high school districts
Eligibility
Current high school sophomore or junior; interest in broadly exploring engineering; students who have not been exposed to engineering through high school coursework, extracurricular activities, similar programs, or close role models in engineering; students who lack access due to limited financial resources and/or school and community opportunities; cannot participate in both SEEDs and SES · Targets students from Eastside Union High School District and Sequoia Union High School District; students outside these districts may apply but are placed on waitlist in case spaces become available
