High school students interested in health professions who want clinical observations, research, community service, mentoring, and preparation for health professional programs.
Eligibility
Currently in 10th or 11th grade; personal interest in pursuing a health profession; 3.0 minimum cumulative GPA; economically disadvantaged OR educationally disadvantaged; US Citizen or Permanent Resident; availability and transportation to participate in-person at UMKC Health Sciences Campus. · United States Citizen OR Permanent Resident · Preference given to students from the Kansas City area. Non-local students must make their own living arrangements for the summer program.
