Program overview
Rising 11th and 12th graders who are Illinois residents and have prior research experience or are willing to complete the Research Fundamentals course; students interested in chemistry, computer science, AI, biomedical modeling, and hands-on research.
Eligibility
Prior research experience (e.g., another research program, research course, or external science fair) or completion of asynchronous Research Fundamentals course. Project-specific prerequisites include: basic chemistry knowledge, algebra-level math, laptop use; Python and familiarity with Pygame; computer science basics; willingness to read large amounts; etc. · Illinois residents
