High school freshmen in the San Antonio area interested in biomedical research and STEM careers; students willing to commit to a three-year program.
Eligibility
Academic requirements include a grade of 90 in math, science and English (or 85 in AP or honors courses), two letters of recommendation with one from a science teacher, a well-written essay, willingness to commit to the three-year program, and high school nomination (up to three candidates per local high school). Application process includes an in-person interview. · San Antonio area; local high schools nominate up to three candidates.
